World As Light Photography - A photographic exploration of visual poetry.

The website is a repository of photos I have taken since beginning serious image gathering in the early 2000's.

Generally I think of my work as contemplative photography which hopefully, sometimes at least, transmits the sense of palpable, quiet beauty in which the world appears transformed.

The sheer open 'as is' quality of the world seen this way can evoke a quality of abiding mystery which shines steadily all around despite the knowledge-stuffed hyperactivity of our modern minds.

Perhaps some of the photos here may remind the viewer that looking/listening/feeling with all the senses and a still mind is true worship.
